Schnickelfritz Hounds is a very small, in-home breeder of AKC miniature dachshunds, owned and operated by Benjamin & Adriane Hendee. We live in the Fort Worth area, in the southwestern part of the DFW Metroplex.

Benjamin and I were married in 2007, and adopted our first dachshund, Anke, in 2010. Now, we have a herd of fur babies, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Our dogs are our children – part of our family, raised in our home, and close to our hearts.

We only have a couple of litters a year, with a focus on quality, socialized puppies. Raising dachshunds with the time, training, and emotional investment that we make is not usually a financially rewarding venture, but we love the opportunity we have to give our puppies the absolute best start in life and share the joys of dog ownership with the people we meet. When you get a Schnickelfritz Hounds puppy, you’re joining our extended doxie family. We are interested in only the very best homes for our babies, and we promise to be a lifelong resource for you and your puppy.
